The last few weeks having really been "jumping" with field trips and special activities!Thanks to everyone that allowed our students to visit!

Right to Read Week ended with a combination concert, from our favorite CCHS music department, and a celebration of reading. Students enjoyed Vision, various musical ensembles, the Six Oh Two rock band, and a chance to win prizes by spinning the wheel. Students finished the morning with relay races at the stadium. 🖤💛🦅📚
The 4th grade D.A.R.E celebration was today. Congratulations to our 4th grade students for completing the D.A.R.E curriculum. They have worked very hard. Thank you Deputy Martin. 💛🦅🖤
Camp Read - A - Lot has been full of many Right to Read Week activities. Students have enjoyed reading in tents, making smores, singing campfire songs, fishing, swimming, crafts, story time with Daisy, and much more! What a great week! 💛🦅🖤📚
Families coming in to read with their kids is absolutely my favorite Hannah Crawford tradition and part of Right to Read week! So many adults supporting our kids and recognizing the importance of reading is amazing! Thanks for coming! 💛🦅🖤📚

CC ATHLETICS WEEK OF MAY 12TH
Congratulations to the junior high boys' and girls' track teams as they both clenched N10 championships today. Great job, Eagles! !
As staff appreciation week came to an end, I am reminded how fortunate we are to have so many staff at Hannah Crawford that give their heart, soul, and energy into shaping and educating the minds of our greatest hope for the future. There are so many different roles staff play in helping our "little eagles" each day. There are bus drivers to get our kids to and from school safely, the food service employees feed our students, the building secretaries that secretly run the school😂, the custodians and maintenance that keep our school clean and safe, the educational aides and other support staff that play very specific roles in the day to day work we all do, and of course, the PTO. We are so blessed at CC with so many incredible students with families that are supportive each step of the way. I sincerely thank each and every staff member for everything you do each day, evening, and weekend to support our students and our school. You are beyond appreciated.

The temperatures were low but the fun was at a high level! Track and Field Day is always a highlight to the end of year activities. Thank you, Mr. Hill for another day of great memories. Thank you also to the staff that helped run events, keep the day moving, the HS track volunteers, and to East of Chicago and Lifewise for helping to feed our HS students, and to the families that came to cheer our eagles on. Go eagles! 💛🦅🖤
