The 8th graders enjoyed the day at Heidelberg as part of the Litchmen-Behm genocide lecture series. After the speakers, they enjoyed a pizza picnic on campus and a short, informal tour. Thank you to the Colonel Crawford Schools Foundation for sponsoring lunch and to Mrs. Whitt, their ELA teacher, for organizing it all.
Mrs. Studer's skills classes held a painted pumpkin competition. They did a great job! These pumpkins were then donated to bring some cheer to hospitals and nursing homes in the area.

The Varsity Boys Cross Country team is STATE BOUND!!
Today, they competed in the Regional cross country meet. They placed fourth advancing them STATE next Saturday. Adam Scott led the team placing 18th with a time of 16:24.
Shawn Auck came in closely behind in 21st place. Teammates Braeden Grau (48th place), Isaac Stirm (54th place), Landon Strausbaugh (80th place), Christian Mott (165th place), and Austin Good (166th place) followed behind.
Awesome job, Eagles! Way to SOAR, C4!!

Congratulations to our 6th grade Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest winners.

Today, our Varsity Cross Country teams competed in the District cross country meet. The Varsity boys team took home the title of District Champions! They will be headed onto the Regional meet next Saturday. Shawn Auck led the team placing 4th with a time of 16:42. Teammates Braeden Grau (6th place), Adam Scott (8th place), Isaac Stirm (9th place), Landon Strausbaugh (24th place), Christian Mott (54th place), and Austin Good (55th place) packed right behind him to help solidify the win.
The Varsity girls team ended their season on a high note with some great races! The team was led by Alyssa Crank in 35th place with a time of 22:36. Her teammates came in closely behind: Sydney Link (41st place), Lexi Dure (52nd place), Eva Kozinski (72nd place), and Ella McGrady (81st place).

Saturday's District CROSS COUNTRY Race will take place at Galion Amman's Reservoir. Please spread the word that all tickets must be purchased online. Tickets will not be sold at the gate.
You can purchase tickets by going to the OHSAA website, Clicking on Cross Country, scrolling down to Division III & selecting Galion's Amann's Park, and purchasing your tickets. You will need to have your tickets ready as you will be asked to scan your tickets when you pull in and prior to parking.
