Congratulations to the junior high boys' and girls' track teams as they both clenched N10 championships today. Great job, Eagles! !
As staff appreciation week came to an end, I am reminded how fortunate we are to have so many staff at Hannah Crawford that give their heart, soul, and energy into shaping and educating the minds of our greatest hope for the future. There are so many different roles staff play in helping our "little eagles" each day. There are bus drivers to get our kids to and from school safely, the food service employees feed our students, the building secretaries that secretly run the school😂, the custodians and maintenance that keep our school clean and safe, the educational aides and other support staff that play very specific roles in the day to day work we all do, and of course, the PTO. We are so blessed at CC with so many incredible students with families that are supportive each step of the way. I sincerely thank each and every staff member for everything you do each day, evening, and weekend to support our students and our school. You are beyond appreciated.

The temperatures were low but the fun was at a high level! Track and Field Day is always a highlight to the end of year activities. Thank you, Mr. Hill for another day of great memories. Thank you also to the staff that helped run events, keep the day moving, the HS track volunteers, and to East of Chicago and Lifewise for helping to feed our HS students, and to the families that came to cheer our eagles on. It has been a GREAT week celebrating the amazing teachers and staff at Hannah Crawford. Following the themes from "The Wizard of Oz" and "Wicked", our staff have enjoyed fun, games, and the celebration of each other. We have been immersed in pink and green, solved the Grimmerie, dressed up, visited by the Lollipop Guild Yum Yum cart, and visits from the Rainbow Guild that have serenaded staff with the song 🎵 "Popular" along with small tokens of appreciation. Below are a few highlights. The PTO has been an important part of our celebration. 🦅💗💚

Yes, we are planning to have Track and Field Day tomorrow for grades 3-5. We anticipate some of the grass to be wet, so please plan accordingly, and please make sure your little eagles are dressed appropriately. If anything changes, we will post on Facebook by 8:00 am. Students in Grades K-7, please get signed up for our Annual Football Camp Monday & Tuesday, May 12 & 13th, 2025, after school! We will have competitions in Strongman, Tug of War, & Air Force Football.

In honor of teacher appreciation week, the PTO has arranged to have the High Voltage Coffee Company at the school tomorrow, Monday 5/5 from 7am-1pm. All teachers and staff will receive a drink! The truck will also be open for parents and ms/hs students to purchase drinks! Wow! Our PTO is the BEST! Thank you!!! 💛🦅🖤🥰
