It was a busy day of Accelerated Reading celebration! 🥳 We started the day taking 150 students to the movies. At lunch time 3-5 grade students attended the duck races based on A.R. Points earned the last 6 weeks. Students won books and sweet treats. It was a great end to a "sweet" Right to Read week of activities! 💛🦅🖤

A few 8th graders managed to maintain "A" honor roll all year long! Today they were treated to Baker's Pizza for lunch! Congratulations, Smarties! Maybe the Class of 2028 valedictorian likes Baker's fries?

2nd grade students spent the morning participating in Food for America. The program was put on by high school FFA students. The 2nd grade students rotated through stations focused on safety, plants, animals, and arts & crafts. This annual event is a great way to expose our little Eagles to the importance of Agriculture.
1st grade students spent the morning at the Dapper cabin. They learned so much history. Brody got to visit with his great grandpa. His great, great, great aunt Ava Dapper was the original owner of the Dapper Cabin. He also had a great aunt helping students inside the cabin. It was such a great hands on learning experience for everyone, and so much fun too. We are so very thankful to our volunteers!💛🦅🖤
Senior players were honored this afternoon at the start of the CC vs Ontario varsity baseball game. Thank you seniors! Also recognized tonight was Dan Gorbett for his career achievements as head varsity baseball coach.
Congratulations go out to the CC Treasurer's Department for receiving the distinction of Excellence in Financial Reporting. The award was presented by Scott Brown of the Ohio Auditor of State's Office.
