🦅Today, the cross country team ran in the Crawford County Meet. The high school boys team won the title of County Champions, they were led by Shawn Auck in 2nd place with a time of 17:15. Keeping a tight pack behind him were teammates Isaac Stirm (3rd place), Braeden Grau (4th place), Landon Strausbaugh (6th place), Christian Mott (9th place), Gordie Ekin (11th place), Wyatt Burge (15th place), Bryce Parsons (16th place), and Grayden Bohach (21st place).
The high school girls also ran a great race, placing third. They were led by Sydney Link in 8th place with a time of 22:36. She was followed closely by teammates Emily Schwenning (9th place), Alyssa Crank (10th place), Lexi Dure (18th place), Ella Harding (19th place), Greta Smith (20th place), Eva Kozinski (26th place), and Ella McGrady (30th place).
The junior high girls were runner-ups in their race. The girls were led by county champ Avary Stirm, running a time of 12:44. Working hard to stay together were teammates Abby Lynn (5th place), Virginia Layton (7th place), Violet Rossman (13th place), Justice Burge (14th place), Elleta Butler (15th place), and Libbi Rush (17th place).
The junior high boys were led by Miles Harding in 2nd place with a time of 13:01. Teammate Bob Somogye followed behind in 9th place.

The CC women's golf team finished the regular season with a strong 3rd place finish in the N10 tournament which enabled them to secure 3rd place in the final league standings. Scores for the team:

Yesterday, the cross country team ran in the Galion invitational.
The high school boys placed third led by Isaac Stirm in 6th place with a time 0f 17:19,. Following closely behind were teammates Shawn Auck (11th place), Landon Strausbaugh (17th place), Braeden Grau (19th place), Christian Mott (36th place), Gordie Ekin (44th place),Bryce Parsons (50th), Wyatt Burge (51st),and Grayden Bohach (69th).
The high school girls team also placed third led by Emily Schwenning in 22nd place with a time of 23:10. Coming in closely behind were teammates Sydney Link (23rd place), Alyssa Crank (25th place),Greta Smith (32nd place), Ella Harding (37th place), Lexi Dure (41st place), Eva Kozinski (43rd place), and Ella McGrady (60th place).
The junior high boys were led by Miles Harding in 6th place with a time of 12:31. Teammate Bob Somogye placed 42nd.
The junior high girls team placed fourth led by Avary Stirm in 2nd place with a time of 12:51. Racing in after were teammates Abby Lynn (14th place), Virginia Layton (30th place), Elleta Butler (60th place), Violet Rossman (64th place), Justice Burge (71st place), and Libbi Rush (56th place), and Libbi Rush (101st).
Next week, the C4 eagles will race at the County meet!

CC Athletics Week of 9-8

Last evening, the cross country team got to run under the stars at a night race, Stars, Stripes, and Lights. Great races were run by all!
The high school boys placed 4th overall led by Shawn Auck in 14th place with a time of 16:38. Following closely behind were teammates Braeden Grau (28th place), Isaac Stirm (31st place), Landon Strausbaugh (41st place), Christian Mott (86th place), Gordie Ekin (96th place), Wyatt Burge (142nd), Bryce Parsons (159th), and Grayden Bohach (179th).
The high school girls ran super times, led by Sydney Link in 49th place with a time of 22:41. She was followed closely by teammates, Emily Schwenning (51st place), Alyssa Crank (54th place), Lexi Dure (65th place), Eva Kozinski (92nd place), and Ella McGrady (172nd place).
The junior high girls and boys teams also ran excellent races and many achieved personal best race times.
The JH boys were led by Miles Harding in 9th place with a time of 12:19. Teammate Bob Somogye followed shortly behind in 26th place with a time.
The JH girls team placed fourth led by Avary Stirm in 5th place with a time of 12:32. Racing in closely behind were teammates Abby Lynn (18th place), Virginia Layton (29th place), Violet Rossman (42nd place), Elleta Butler (53rd place), Libbi Rush (56th place), and Justice Burge (61st place).
